Explore the world of soap at Savonnerie des Collines which is situated near to the Puy du Fou in Saint Mars la Réorthe. Come and discover the history of the soap and how it is made.
We propose a fun visit which takes place in two stages.
First part : Fun space (video room)
First, in the video room you will meet P'tit mousse, who also wants to understand the history of the soap. During the video, some areas will light up to help illustrate the video.
Second part : the manufacturing workshop
Then, in the second part, Nicolas will demonstrate how soap is made. He will explain each step of the production. In the Savonnerie des Collines shop you will find all our products (donkey milk soap, vegetable soap ...), but also local products (wine, aperitif, beer, biscuit, and many other local specialties!).
An ideal tour for family holidays.
The visit lasts 1 hour, with the shop you can count an hour and a half.
We want to draw your attention to the fact that the visit is only in French. We can give you a written resume of the tour in English. The visit is very visual (manufacture), you can smell, touch the soap and follow the guide with big steps written in resume.

Group visit
We can also receive tourist group for the visit. The capacity is about 40 persons per visit. We can organise two visits successively so appriximately 2 hours for 80 persons.

In the Savonnerie des Collines shop, you will find all our products : soaps (donkey's milk soap, goat's milk soap, vegetable soap), solid shampoo, solid cosmetics (body balm,...), bathroom accessories,... and also natural household care products.

The soap factory is located in the heart of Vendée, in a peaceful & authentic place.
We are close to Puy du Fou & Vendée coast, the soap factory is easily accessible, near to several cities :
- From les Sables d’Olonne : almost an hour and a half
- From Nantes : about 1 hour
- From Cholet : only 30 minutes
- From le Puy du Fou : just 2 minutes

Condition for cancellation
You can contact us to cancel or postponed the visit with a valid reason (family imperative, disease,…).In that case, after your call, we will propose you another date for the visit or the refund of your booking. The refund will be done ASAP on the payment account. If you prefer change the date, no problem, it can be done in the year, following schedule of visits. Please contact us with your order number to make this change.
